BoroCore™ Aluminium

BoroCore™ Aluminium consists of Aluminium having boron incorporated in it. Our product is made using 99.995% pure aluminium and it contains about 3 – 4 % of boron. Boron is uniformly distributed in aluminium. It is used in nuclear reactors for control rods etc. Aluminium is transparent to neutrons and boron absorbs fast neutrons.

  • Metallic properties and can easily withstand temperatures up to 300°C.

  • Stable in vacuum

  • Possible to drill holes for inserting cadmium rods etc.

  • Possible to customize the shapes as per requirements
