Boron Polyethylene is a shielding material with high hydrogen & boron content which makes it a perfect shielding material in areas of low to intermediate neutron transmission and therefore helps in Neutron absorption.

The boron content shields thermal neutrons and reduces the effect of gamma rays, while the high hydrogen content thermalizes fast paced neutrons and builds thermal stability. This product is available with boron concentration in range from 1% to 30%.

Boron Polyethylene is mostly used in radiation therapy room for chemo patients, in automobile and spacecraft shielding, in making satellite components, maintain radiation protection and providing specific portable shielding.
