HydroGuard PE™ is commonly used as a neutron moderator. In its pure and ultra-high molecular weight forms it has high hydrogen content which is key for slowing fast neutrons to thermal energies effectively.

It is mostly used in radiation therapy rooms, and in the industries like packaging, construction, consumer goods, automotive, medical, electrical and electronics.

Polyethylene is available in various forms such as slabs, bricks, cylinders, rods and tubes and also can be easily molded in to custom shapes as per function specific shielding needs.
